Job Description
- Monitor and advise on all issues relating quality management, produce data and report on performance measurements against set standards.
- Ensure that laboratory equipment and tools are appropriately calibrated and checked to maintain accuracy and reliability
- Maintain a log of test records on products and identify the need for quality and standards improvements.
- Receive feedback and complaints on products quality and ensure they are addressed
- Maintain standards for quality as well as health and safety
- Maintain records of quality control activities for reference and audits
- Perform other functions as may be requested by the immediate supervisor
- Minimum of B.Sc. Second Class (Upper Division) / HND Upper Credit in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Laboratory Science /Technology, or other relevant discipline
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the quality control department of an organisation in the oil & gas industry with preference for petrochemical products and lubricants
- A postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline and certifications in Quality or Operations management and HSE would be an added advantage.
