Job Title: Assistant Surveyor

Duties and Responsibilities
  • You will assist in undertaking Topographical, Measured Building, GPS and GIS Surveys and will assist in handling projects to produce digital data.
  • Your remit shall extend to the application of quality control, performance monitoring and reporting, technical procedures and maintenance of records in accordance with our Quality Assurance System.
Key Job Requirements
  • Minimum of OND in Surveying and Geoinformatics.
  • 2-4 years’ experience in land surveying in general.
  • Proficient use of modern survey equipment with project examples.
  • Locate and mark sites selected for geophysical prospecting activities.
  • Direct aerial surveys of specified geographical areas.
  • Efficient completion of survey projects in AutoCAD to specification.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proficient use of HD laser scanners including registration and Point cloud processing.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Self-motivated and result oriented
  • Attention to details and high aptitude
  • Ability to multitask with high level of creative
  • Proactive personality and ability to work independently.

  • 7 – 10 years practical experience in road, bridge and infrastructure related
  • Must be COREN Registered
  • Must have extensive background experience as Site Agent
  • Should have a strong technical background with well-developed negotiating skills
  • Should be able to combine entrepreneurial spirit with integrity, determination, and a commitment to excellence and have the ability to drive our business forward.
  • Must have knowledge of Nigerian Federal Highway roads and codes.
  • Assist with contract document preparation including plans, specifications, and estimates
  • Application of Microsoft project to produce programme of work
  • Ability to produce method statement/work methodology without supervision.
  • Candidate should be able to handle the full range of activities associated with bidding/tendering processes.
Skills:
  • Leadership skill is key
  • Good Communication Skill
  • Ability to work under pressure with less supervision

Purpose of the Role
  • The role is designed to develop outstanding Territory Managers by developing fundamental Selling & Leadership skills through a bespoke training program.

  • Sell all brands and SKUs to all customers without discrimination and achieve his volume target
  • To go to trade with all required selling tools
  • To merchandise all products while selling in all outlets
  • To always sell within assigned selling route/territory daily with no crisis-crossing

  • Use SFA ( Sales Force Automation) in every call
