Our client is a major Telecoms company searching for a Transmission & Access Network Engineer. The purpose of the role is: Implement the Installation, Operation, Administration, Maintenance & Provisioning of Transmission & Access Network which comprise of all WiMax Base Stations,  Microwave Equipment, Fiber Optic, VSAT, and Backhaul Routers.
Responsibilities:

• Monitoring of Transmission & Access Network Elements and ensure continuous operations
• Perform Installation and Maintenance of all Transmission & Access Elements.
• Report to Supervisor on the status of Installation, Maintenance, Operation, Congestion, utilization and traffic trends of all Transmission equipment.

Requirements:

• Skilled in Telecoms, Electrical, Electronics or related area plus experience working with Telecom/ISP Operator
• Experience in the deployment and expansion of Microwave, Wireless, Wired and IP Networks
• Must be skilled in Installation and Maintenance of Transmission of Equipment, Skilled in the use of Spectrum Analyzer, Fiber Fusion Machine

Our client is a major player within the global energy market. They are recruiting for an Exploration Geologist for their Nigerian business.

In this role, you will develop a detailed understanding of the regional geology, interpret seismic, well log, outcrop and other regional geological data required for in-depth geological and geophysical analysis of the company’s assets and new venture opportunities
Responsibilites

• Produce regional geological maps, prospect generation and evaluation, including interpretation of 2D/3D seismic data to produce maps, and maturation of these prospects to AFE status for drilling.
• Identify new plays, opportunities and exploration concepts, grounded by producing field analogs.
• Integrate play analysis and play prosecution into the evaluation and exploration of a project.
• Perform Basin modeling
• Run volumetrics on leads, prospects and existing discoveries

Requirements

• Degree in Geology, Petroleum Engineering or its equivalent
• 6-10 Years experience in evaluation of interpretation of well log and other geological data
• Working knowledge of other subsurface disciplines including seismic techniques and reservoir engineering
• Experience of planning and monitoring of exploration drilling would be an advantage

Requirements

• Complete understanding of maintenance management function and the ability to apply technology and management system effectively in maintaining plant assets and directing resources and personnel.
• Develop training programs for plant technical and operating personnel.
• Coach technical personnel effectively in developing an understanding of the role of maintenance in supporting plant operations effectively.
