Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Human Resources personnel is responsible for managing all aspects of the employment lifecycle of Majeurs 30+ full-time, year-round staff, as well as contractors we occasionally bring on board to support production.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Human Resources personnel is responsible for managing all aspects of the employment lifecycle of Majeurs 30+ full-time, year-round staff, as well as contractors we occasionally bring on board to support production.
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
Creation of job descriptions
- Managing the hiring process, including advertising open positions, reviewing resumes,
- coordinating and conducting interviews, conducting reference and background checks,
- Maintaining up-to-date personnel information and files drafting offer letters
- Maintaining the employee handbook and organizational staffing chart
- Overseeing the monthly & quarterly employee review process
- Tracking employee performance documentation
- Consult with employers to identify needs and preferred qualifications
- Interview applicants about their experience, education and skills
- Contact references and perform background checks
- Inform applicants about job details such as benefits and conditions
- Hire or refer qualified candidates
- Conduct new employee orientations & thorough onboarding
- Process paperwork and proper documentation of staff
- Initiate & manage staff benefits
- Ensure all staff members are aware of company rules and compliances processes
- Plan and coordinate the workforce to best use employees' talents
- Resolve issues between management and employees
- Advise managers on policies like an equal employment opportunity
- Coordinate and supervise the work of specialists and staff & document progress affectively
- Oversee the recruitment and hiring process
- Direct disciplinary procedures
- Highly detail-oriented, able to work independently, multi-task, enjoy interfacing with other staff
- at all levels, excellent skills in verbal and written communication, possess a bachelor’s degree,
- familiarity with Lagos State and federal labour laws, and at least 2 years of experience relevant to the responsibilities.
