Duties: including
  1. Reporting to the Engineering & Construction Manager, responsible for the Contractor's activities related to fabrication and installation activities onshore and offshore in Nigeria
  2. Champion a "no incident" HSE mind set and deliver excellent HSE performance
  3. Provide leadership for the site team and for monitoring performance of site team members through the execution of the project
  4. Supervising that the facilities are built according to the specifications, quality requirements, and approved drawings
  5. Provide construction expertise during the Contractor's development of the fabrication execution plan/program and review critical items
  6. Ensure that the Contractor's fabrication and installation activities are planned and executed to safeguard the integrity of safety, health of personnel, and the environment
  7. Provide good communication and develop good working relationship with fabrication, operations, and commissioning personnel
  8. Ensure that the facilities are fabricated and installed in accordance with the project specification and the requirements of the Nigerian Authorities
  9. Ensure preservation and Planned Maintenance is performed in accordance with manufactures requirements and that completions database is updated with all records
  10. Supervise the offshore installation campaigns for subsea drilling template, flowline and umbilical installation, deck installation, and hookup of the facilities
  11. Identification of any interfaces having bearing on other contractors
  12. Supervision of key commissioning and performance tests
  13. Assist the Operations Team in executing the offshore commissioning
  14. Reporting of progress, deviations and areas of concern to the Engineering & Construction Manager
  15. Observe any threats to the execution of the work and assist the EPCI Contractor Management in formulating effective and timely remedial action
  16. Responsible for strict Management of Change and make recommendations to the Engineering & Construction Manager on potential Variation Orders.
  17. Ensure understanding, acceptance and visible commitment to HSE standards by the EPCI Contractor.
Skills
  1. Good understanding of Structural Engineering, fabrication, pipelay and umbilical installation engineering
  2. Proven record of delivering projects with excellent HSE, schedule, and budget performance.
  3. Highly effective communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
  4. Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary, cross functional, multi-location team environment
  5. Ability to work with a sense of urgency on fast-track/fast paced projects.
  6. Ability to use structured processes in a fit-for purpose manner.
  7. High tolerance for ambiguity and uncertainty and adaptable to change.
  8. Familiarity with Primavera and Microsoft Project scheduling tools and expertise in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
