Responsibilities

Posting into ledgers using Accounts Software Package (Online QuickBooks Pro)

Preparation and presentation IFRS-complaint Financial Statements (Income Statement, Statement of Financial Position and Statement of Cashflow)

Preparation of Bank Reconciliation Statements

Handling of Accounts Receivable and Payable

Consolidation of Returns from Brunches

Reconciliation of Inventory and Periodic Stock-taking

Liaising with External Audit on the Statutory Annual Audits

Preparation of Audit Programme

Preparation and Monitoring of Company Budget

Preparation of Audit Journals

Salary Administration

Handling of Tax Matters

Regulatory Compliance

Requirements

Minimum of B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance.

ICAN Compulsory

ACCA is an added advantage

Required 7 years work experience as an Accountant in a reputable Organisation

Excellent QuickBooks Professional.

Skills:

Microsoft word

Microsoft Excel (Advanced)

Good Analytical Skills

Knowledge of Accounting Software (Online QuickBooks Pro)

Knowledge of Oracle-based Accounting Software (Orion)

Effective Communication and Interpersonal skills.
