A photo obtained by Daily NK shows that the large barriers erected around Dandong’s train station in Liaoning Province for Kim Jong Un’s visit to China last month have since been dismantled.
In preparation for the visit, the Chinese government last month restricted access to and installed large barriers around Dandong Station, in order to maintain some level of secrecy surrounding the passage of Kim Jong Un’s custom train.
A Daily NK source in China reported that it took nearly 3 weeks until after the visit for the barriers to be dismantled and life in Dandong to return to normal.
